About classes
Join our small, friendly art classes in a calm studio in Athenry.
Whether you’ve never picked up a pencil before or you used to draw years ago and want to get back into it, this course is designed to help you build real skills and confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Everything is provided — quality materials, paper, and all supplies. Just bring yourself and a willingness to enjoy the process.
Classes are kept small (maximum 8 people) so you get plenty of individual attention and guidance. Everyone learns at their own pace in our welcoming studio.

Tanya is so lovely teacher and amazing artist. She has a fountain of knowledge and knows her craft so well! I have learned a lot from her in such a short time!
Really enjoyed the 6 week course and always looked forward to going to class. I learned a lot and feel a lot more comfortable trying to do art in my own time now that I understand the basics.
The Art class I did with Tanya was very fun and enjoyable. It was great to learn how many of the different items and techniques you can use to create a drawing or painting.
What You Will Learn?
Each 6-week block is a new term in its own right, designed to give you a relaxed and structured learning experience in art.
Throughout the term, students are guided step by step through the creative process while developing essential skills such as colour, composition, proportions, layering, and creating depth. Each class combines demonstrations, guidance, and practical time to apply new techniques.
Students typically complete one or two finished artworks during the term, with a focus on understanding the process, building confidence, and developing skills that can be carried into future artwork.
Perfect for complete beginners and returning artists who want to learn, experiment, and grow their artistic practice in a supportive environment.
